Doesn’t it almost feel like we’re becoming desensitised to the idea of being hacked? I mean, the NSA has a hacking scandal going on (!), the DNC was hacked (apparently by Russia, with all kinds of concerned pundits talking about the game of realpolitik and global political machinations/interference), and the list of mass data breaches is frankly terrifying.
And yet we all kind of go on, you know? Somehow wilfully oblivious to the risk that this afternoon, someone could hack into a bank’s data vaults and take over our lives.
