Recently, I’ve been having conversations about math. It forms the basis of so much: coding, algorithms, bitcoin, Zcash, Big Data… Math is almost the basis of everything, so it’s not surprising that many of the ancients believed that it’s the language of God [side note: Pythagorus thought that he was a God after he discovered his triangle theorem, and he built a cult around his mathematical discoveries]. Anyway, there are two near metaphysical math equations that blow my mind, and they are related. So I made them into infographics. Here is equation 1:
