I just want to thank everyone that has done the following since I started writing:
- subscribed to the blog;
- re-tweeted a post;
- shared the blog posts on facebook;
- made a topic request;
- contributed;
- commented;
- congratulated; and/or
- let me know when there’s grammar or arithmetic that needed correcting.
It’s clichéd, but the support does make it so much more worthwhile.
PS: and for some shameless self-promotion… Carry on – especially with the sharing!

The past performance factor you talk about made me think of sitting in a traffic jam. When the lane next to you is moving faster most people want to change lanes, but after enough people have changed, it clogs that lane and your original one is actually the lane that is moving.
The people who jump lanes often do make a bit of headway, but it might actually be better to just be patient.

Exactly! I like that analogy. I may plagiarise it! 🙂
