In a brief reprieve from all the bad news from the last week (assuming that you’re not a Trump fan, of course), this:

Geeky side note: I was skeptical of this story at first, because inflation can make a MASSIVE difference (a dollar a day today is not a lot of purchasing power – whereas a dollar a day in the early 1900s might have been a small fortune). But apparently, this is all inflation-adjusted. So now I’m less skeptical.
