The US is the largest importer of 12 of the 18 most traded products. But it is the largest exporter of only two.

I can’t decide if that means that the US would win a trade war (because it is largely the Big Customer – and the customer has consumer power)? Or lose it, because Americans are used to cheap products made elsewhere, and their ability to make it themselves is too far gone…
