Continuing the theme of maps that might blow your mind, this:
So as it turns out, North and South are completely arbitrary. I realise that the above map is actually becoming quite common as an edgy Facebook Cover Photo – but it still plays on my mind. Because in my head, Europe is up.
It also makes me wonder just how much of our perception is shaped by the completely arbitrary.
